On Saturday, December 6, 2008, MapleShade Meadows hosted its 4th Annual Open House Holiday Party. Over 400 people attended.  Residents and their guests were treated to various hors d'oeuvres, a main course of prime rib, salmon and stuffed chicken breast and a choice of several delectable desserts. .Entertainment for the afternoon was provided by Johnny and Sherry.

On Saturday, December 20, 2008, Santa visited the Residents of MapleShade Meadows. Around 10 AM Residents gathered in the Dining Room to listen to the sounds of Danny Farole and local carolers. Shortly after the singing began, Santa made his entrance.  Santa walked around the entire facility shaking hands with each Resident and then gave each one a special gift.
